Terms of service

Below is a website-ready Terms of Service version adapted from your document. I removed internal, operational, and jurisdiction-specific details that are not appropriate for public display, along with any system-generated fields or sensitive business information. The structure is also simplified for readability and enforceability online.

Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 20, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and your purchase of custom stationery products and design services (collectively, the “Services”). By placing an order, submitting payment, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

For purposes of these Terms, “Seller,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the business providing the Services, and “Buyer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the customer purchasing Services. Seller and Buyer may be referred to collectively as the “Parties.”

1. Scope of Services

Seller provides custom stationery, artwork, and related design services as described in the applicable proposal, invoice, product listing, or order confirmation.

Because all products are made to order:

  • Any items not specifically listed are not included.

  • Changes, additions, or substitutions may affect pricing, production timelines, and availability.

  • Seller reserves the right to decline modifications that fall outside the agreed scope.

2. Design Process & Proofing

Proofs

  • Digital proofs are provided prior to production for eligible items.

  • Invitation suites include up to three (3) revision rounds.

  • Save-the-dates include up to two (2) revision rounds.

  • Additional revisions may be billed at an hourly or per-revision rate.

Buyer Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving:

  • Spelling, grammar, and wording

  • Names, dates, and event details

  • Addresses and contact information

  • Layout approval

Once a proof is approved, Seller is not responsible for any errors contained in that approval.

Color & Material Variations

Due to differences in screens, printers, paper stocks, and handmade processes:

  • Colors may vary between digital previews, samples, and final products.

  • Minor variations are normal and are not considered defects.

Printed samples are approximations and not guaranteed matches to final production.

3. Production Timelines

Typical workflow timelines are estimates and depend on Buyer responsiveness.

  • Initial proofs are delivered after required information is received.

  • Buyer must review proofs promptly to avoid delays.

  • Production begins only after final approval and full payment.

Failure to respond within requested timeframes may result in timeline adjustments.

Accessories or small add-ons may move directly into production without proofing.

Custom artwork may include limited layout options but does not include iterative redesign unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

Retainer

A non-refundable retainer (typically 50% of the order total) is required to begin work and reserve production time.

Final Payment

The remaining balance is due before printing, production, or shipment begins.

Scope Changes

Pricing may change if you request:

  • Quantity changes

  • Design alterations

  • Material upgrades

  • Added embellishments or assembly

  • Rush production or shipping

Updated invoices must be paid before changes proceed.

Late Payments

Seller may pause work until payment is received. Seller is not responsible for delays caused by late payment.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are shipped via third-party carriers.

  • Production and shipping timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.

  • Risk of loss transfers to Buyer once the order is delivered to the carrier.

  • Buyer is responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Seller is not liable for carrier delays, weather disruptions, or events beyond Seller’s control.

6. Assembly & Mailing Responsibilities

Unless explicitly included in writing:

  • Items are delivered unassembled.

  • Buyer is responsible for final assembly, postage, and mailing.

  • Seller does not provide mailing services.

Any tips or tutorials provided are for informational purposes only and do not create liability.

7. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

Because all products are custom-made:

  • Orders are generally non-refundable once design work has begun.

  • Approved proofs cannot be canceled or returned.

  • Custom items cannot be resold and are therefore not eligible for return.

Limited Exceptions

Seller may offer correction or reprint only if:

  • A production error occurred that differs from the approved proof, and

  • The issue is reported within 7 days of delivery.

Variations in color, texture, or handmade characteristics are not defects.

Catastrophic Events

If Seller is unable to complete the work due to severe circumstances beyond reasonable control, a refund may be issued for uncompleted work.

8. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, and files remain the intellectual property of Seller unless explicitly licensed otherwise.

Buyer is granted a limited, personal-use license for purchased items.

You may not:

  • Reproduce designs for resale

  • Share digital artwork publicly for commercial use

  • Alter artwork for redistribution

Exclusive licensing may be purchased separately where offered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Seller’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product.

  • Seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delays, mailing outcomes, or event-related losses.

10. Force Majeure

Seller is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, supply interruptions, labor issues, or shipping disruptions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Seller is legally registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith mediation before legal action is pursued.

12. Acknowledgment of Custom Nature

By placing an order, you acknowledge:

  • You have reviewed and approved all proofs.

  • Printed and handmade goods naturally include slight variations.

  • You are responsible for mailing logistics and postage verification.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller regarding Services and supersede prior discussions or communications.

Seller may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions apply to future purchases.
